“Urban nodes – accelerators of sustainable and balanced regional development?”

Workshop will explore how cities and regions can use TEN-T policy to build sustainable urban-rural partnerships and empower the green transition.

Reliable and sustainable mobility in functional urban areas will be critical for future transport solutions in Europe. Member cities and regions of the Scandria®Alliance are looking for new ways to build the link between effective transport systems and the need for local sites for distribution functions within densely built areas. The event will focus on how cities and regions can proactively use TEN-T policy to build sustainable urban-rural partnerships and empower the green transition.

The workshop will be held online on 11 October 2022 from 11:30–13:00 CEST, as part of the European Week of Regions and Cities.
