Urban nodes

As AFIR requires to develop hydrogen refuelling infrastructure in every urban node as defined in regulation (EU) 2024/1679 on Union guidelines for the development of the trans-European transport network, HyTruck analysed on how the different HRS deployment scenarios would affect the compliance with this requirement.

Out of 57 urban nodes in the Baltic Sea Region, nowadays, only twelve are served by an HRS located inside the urban node. In 27 urban nodes it is planned to develop an HRS or an HRS is under construction. According to the information assessed, there are six urban nodes without any HRS indicated.
