Another 65 HRS is being planned, either meaning, an investment decision has been met or in most of the cases, that the HRS have been received public grant, mostly from national programmes or the Connecting Europe Facility.

If fully implemented, still some gaps with more than 200 km distance between neighbouring HRS (yellow) mainly in the Nordic countries, at cross-border sections or even more than 400 km between Sweden and Norway and in the Eastern Baltics.
