Heavy vehicles on their way to the hydrogen highway?
In this talk, we explored drivers and barriers for the use of hydrogen in the transition to a sustainable heavy duty transport.
About this webinar
This Scandria Alliance Talk focused on the use of hydrogen in heavy duty vehicles. We explored the current landscape, discussed the unique challenges and barriers faced in three Scandria®Corridor countries – Norway, Germany and Italy – and envisioned the path forward.
A key question addressed was the suitability of hydrogen for heavy trucks versus other applications. While hydrogen holds great promise for decarbonizing heavy transport, it’s also a versatile energy carrier with potential uses in various sectors. Is it best utilized in heavy vehicles, or are there other areas where it could make a bigger impact? The talk provided an opportunity to learn from industry experts and to join the conversation on the future of ero emission transport.
