Why you should join this talk
Mobility hubs combine different mobility offers, such as public transport, bike or car sharing and micromobility in one place. They simplify intermodal travels, foster the use of sustainable modes of transport and facilitate mobility without a private car.
While mobility hubs have become common within major European cities, establishing (mini) hubs in peri-urban and rural areas requires different operational logics and business models. In this webinar, experts from different European regions will present case examples and discuss the specific challenges and success factors of mobility hubs in peri-urban and rural areas. We will display how mobility hubs can contribute to increasing the accessibility and liveability of such areas.
The case examples are from Helsinki-Uusimaa Region in Finland and the Capital Region Berlin-Brandenburg in Germany.
