During the Connecting Europe Days, the Scandria Alliance will organise site events and will be present at the Connecting Europe Days Exhibition Area – stand 69.
Since 2019 the Scandria Alliance provides an arena for cities and regions to collaborate on climate-smart, multimodal and resilient transport connectivity at the interface to sustainable regional development between Scandinavia and the Adriatic Sea.
Ever since, the Scandria Alliance has been promoting regional initiatives and projects at the Connecting Europe Days to showcase and dialogue on the importance of an aligned European transport policy for the sake of regional development across borders.
Again, during the 2026 edition of the Connecting Europe Days in Brussels, the Scandria Alliance and its members are present in Brussels along with their annual General Assembly. At several events and at stand no. 69 it will be possible to dialogue about issues that press our members like wider benefits and resilience of cross-border infrastructure or urban nodes as the interchanges of the European Transport Network.
- on 28 September, the Scandria Alliance invites to the high-level seminar “Connecting People. Connecting Regions. Connecting Europe: Wider benefits of cross-border transport infrastructure” hosted by the European Committee of Regions, illustrating the relevance of European transport policy for regional development and cohesion.
- the same day, the Nordic Gateway invites for an evening reception “Strengthening strategic cross-border connectivity in Northern Europe – advancing the TEN-T network between the Nordic and Baltic cities”.
- on 1 October POLIS and the Scandria Alliance invite for the POLIS-Scandria Alliance-BSR Workshop: “Urban Nodes at the core of TEN-T”.
- At the Scandria Alliance stand in the Exhibition Area of the Connecting Europe Days, you’ll meet projects and initiatives of our member organisations (stand no. 69, Grand Hall).
You’ll be in Brussels those days? Take one minute or two to pay us a visit!
