New political leaders of the Scandria®Alliance appointed

Rainer Genilke is new chair and Tuija Telén new vice chair of the Scandria®Alliance. Together with Åsa Ågren Wikström, they chair our General Assembly.

Rainer Genilke, Minister of Infrastructure and Federal State Planning of Brandenburg (Germany) is following Guido Beermann as minister and as chair of the Scandria®Alliance.

In an interview with the Scandria®Alliance, he states that European transport policy is crucial to be followed at regional level, as it accelerates the transition towards climate-smart solutions and finally needs to be implemented on the ground: in cities and regions.

Tuija Telén, Regional Mayor of Helsinki-Uusimaa (Finland), inherited the vice chairmanship of the Scandria®Alliance from her predecessor Ossi Savolainen. In a video statement recorded for the Scandria®Alliance, she underlines that collaboration is needed to foster both infrastructure resilience as well as decarbonisation.
